Just a handful of days prior to the 2022 Super Bowl’s intermission performance, Snoop Dogg purchased death Row Records – the very same recording label that played an instrumental role in aiding him in launching his career and propelling him to fame during the early 90s.
On February 13, a Half time show was held at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California, which received high praise from critics. The show featured a lineup of talented performers including Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and 50 Cent. Additionally, classic cars were also present at the event.
Snoop Dogg has decided to step away from the rap game and focus on his true passion – restoring classic cars. His latest project involves a stunning 1958 Lincoln Continental Mark III, which has been given a new lease on life with a luxurious Bentley interior and a fresh mint green paint job. To achieve this level of customisation, Snoop has once again turned to the skilled craftsmen at Stitched By Slick, who previously worked on his 1980 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme.
Both the rapper and record executive were pleased with the result, particularly the beige and brown leather seats of the classic car. The vintage vehicle boasts Amani Forged Wheels that appear to be gold Cubano-forged, adding to its luxurious appearance. Additionally, the seatbelt seems to feature a Gucci design, further emphasizing the car’s sophistication.
In memory of Snoop’s beloved mother Beverly, who sadly passed away in October 2021, he has installed a 10-inch P3 Rockford Fosgate subwoofer in the trunk of his car. The touching tribute features heartfelt messages like “Mama, thank you for having me” and “Thank you, God, for giving me an Angel for a mother.” Additionally, his latest album Algorithm is also referenced.
The 1958 Lincoln Continental Mark III has been restored to its former glory and is a perfect fit for Snoop Dogg’s style.
